Located at 601 E New Circle Rd, Lexington, KY 40505, Campus Tires of Lexington operates as a tire repair shop serving Lexington in Kentucky. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as tire service, tire shop, used tire shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Lexington is in Kentucky, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Lexington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Kentucky's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

7:30pm, every other tire shop in the area was closed and I picked up a screw in my tire. Mohammed patched my flat in less than 10 minutes. Total lifesaver.

I was given a bad tire here. My car thatβs otherwise in very good condition and low-mileage started shaking after they replaced a tire (only one tire because it had gotten a nail in it) so I scheduled an appointment with a trusted mechanic and got in two weeks later (March 26th- the incident happened on March 12th) after that to find out what was wrong, it turns out the tire Campus had put on was in such bad condition that they said it was a wonder Iβd even been able to drive it to their shop. It turns out the belts were badly worn out on the tire Campus had put on just two weeks prior (I work remotely so my car had barely been driven in those two weeks). I called Campus for a refund on what I spent, which is a minor ask considering my safety was at risk because of the tire they put on. I politely brought up the issue, but the person who answered the phone was very rude to me the whole time and acted like I was inconveniencing him by calling. He immediately accused the other (much more reputable business) of lying to get me to spend money, ignoring the fact that I had to go in to this other business because of the issues that started immediately after the bad tire had been put on a

This place was fast, honest, and has good communication. On August 19th we had a bad flat in the morning, we got a donut on and immediately went to them. The guy had our tire changed within 20 minutes and out. It was only 68$ for the tire. We came back the 21st because we noticed some wobbling on a car and thought maybe we just needed them balanced. We drove in explained to them the tire was wobbly and they honestly told us they sold us a bad tire. They then replaced it for no extra cost. Car feels way better now. I could see someone older being mad about this place but it is used tires and thereβs not much youβre able to tell until youβre actually driving on it and from my experience they are honest when they make a mistake. Highly recommend to anyone in a pinch needing a new cheap tire. Great people, great service, great communication.

Absolutely no idea how this place is open. Took my car there to check for a tire leak, and they broke off my stud and lugnut. Acted like it wasnβt a big deal and tried to charge me $30 to put bead sealer around my tire after.
